Good post Stark;

Personally I am thinking Tullow is the best candidate for a JVP since they are now a JVP with Repsol & CGX on the Georgetown PPL.

They would have reviewed the Georgetown 3D and with the Corentyne 3D would be able to look at the big picture and tie everything together.

Since the Abary well is located in the recent JV siesmic and it had produced oil there is now a lot of very good and detailed data for them to assess.

Tullow has had tremendous success off the coast of West Africa with phenomonal positive drill results and as I understand the geology is similar to the Guyana / Surinam Basin as they were all attached at one time.

Tullow has the Money, track record and expertise that CGX needs but in the end it will probably come down to $$'s and what is the best deal for CGX going forward.

You are right IMO as to the timming for a JVP with the price of oil moving up and the Majors starting to move forward with exploration and aquisitions CGX is in the best position they have ever been in and sooner or later the market is going reflect this in our SP, could be a great X-mass for OYL shareholders.
