The SEC in the U.S. makes naked short selling ban permanent as of July27/09.They are also looking at short selling with a public round table on Sept.30/09 to discuss securities lending,pre-borrowing and possible additional short sale disclosures.IMO, this is great news for the market. It's about time something was done with these manipulators.Now, if only our Canadian regulators would get off their buts and do the same.

Been away for awhile,just getting caught up on CGX news on this forum,good to see others contributing.Not much going on so far,but good days are ahead.Cheers MF
