I have spoken to him. He is still coming up to speed on the company. I think it is better if he doesn't know and get caught up with the questionable history with SFMI/GHDC. The pitch to new investors is that the company is under new management, they have cleaned up financials, new business venture that is producing revenue and more acquisitions planned for the future.
They have an entire marketing and distribution plan in place which includes investor presentations, TV segments, investor conference calls, various online conferences, etc.
They have database of 130,000 consistent followers and they reach millions of households via their TV segments.
However, one shouldn't assume that this means that RedChip alone will drive the price up here. IMO any new investors from RedChip will be much needed support along the way.
In the end it will be the fundamentals of the company that will drive value here.
One interesting note on RedChip is they wrote the first investor research paper on starbucks back in 1992.
