BOWMORE Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:BOW) ("Company") (Montreal, Quebec) is pleased to announce that at the annual meeting of the Company held on December 20, 2010, Mr. Eduardo Perlicz was elected as a director of the Company to replace Mr. Richard Grass. Mr. Perlicz has over 25 years experience in the investment banking industry, Central Bank trading and project financing, and he has held Vice President positions with Barclays Bank PLC, Goldman Sacks and Mase Westpac of New York where he was in charge of precious metal trading for South America. Mr. Perlicz is presently an independent advisor and financial consultant with extensive contacts in Latin America.


Messrs. Paul Dumas, Robert Wares, Sean Roosen and Claude Charron were re-elected as directors of the Company. The Company would like to thank Mr. Grass for his contributions over the past few years.


At the annual meeting, shareholders also approved the Company's existing stock option plan which, among other things, provides that the board of directors may grant stock options totaling up to ten percent (10%) of the total number of common shares of the Company issued and outstanding at the date of the stock option grant.
