01:27 PM EST, 02/06/2019 (MT Newswires) -- BonTerra Resources (BTR.V) was down nearly 4% after the company on Wednesday said its chief executive and its vice-president of exploration have resigned.

The gold-exploration company said chief executive Nav Dhaliwal and Dale Ginn had left to focus on other junior mining companies and will remain as consultants to Bon Terra.

The company has begun an executive search to find replacements for the pair, and chairman Greg Gibson will serve as interim chief executive until that process wraps up.

BonTerra shares were last seen down $0.09 to $2.39 on the TSX Venture Exchange, with session trades ranging between $2.36 and $2.48.
