The Star of the Ring...
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 23, 2010) - Bold Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BOL) ("Bold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the acquisition of two claim blocks on the northern side of the Ring of Fire approximately 350 miles north northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The two claim groups consist of six claims and four claims respectively and are named Bold Area 50 and Bold Area 51. They comprise 160 units for an approximate area of 2,560 hectares or 6,323 acres. The property was staked to cover aeromagnetic geophysical signatures similar to other locations in the vicinity of the Ring of Fire.
The agreement to purchase the mineral rights calls for a one-time payment of 100,000 shares and staking costs to the vendor. These claims are the first acquisition for Bold Ventures under new management. The new management of Bold has extensive experience in the Ring of Fire as part of the discovery team for Noront Resources' Eagle 1 magmatic massive sulphide deposit.
The securities issued are subject to a hold period of at least four month plus one day from closing.
