I have not delved deeply into this invention, but I am always curious to see the expected timeline of something like this. ie: how long from discovery to commercial availability. In the attached article (para 2) there is speculation of 5 years.
I am interested, because this is something that I find lacking in Biocurex's communication: a clear plan.
If you went to a bank for financing, they want to see your product and then they want to see a clear plan with a credible timeline. For all I know, Biocurex has a clear plan...but they sure don't want to share it with us--the potential source of financing.
I realize there can be confidentiality agreements related to collaborations etc...but almost all of Biocurex's plan is clandestine. Why not talk about scale of potential revenue streams from different products and markets? Why not estimate likely revenue timing (give different scenarios if need be).
Whether it is a cure for cancer or a time machine, if the inventor can't tell me when I would get payback or potentially how much I would receive, there is no starting point for negociation. If it is too long, competitors may have leap-frogged the invention with their own technology.
"Trust the good doctor" I keep hearing people saying. Try that line on a banker and let me know how it goes.
