You're right djmli, the credit markets are a mess.

I should have clarified my comment regarding financing. I was insinuating that if price is up with heavy daily volume, the company could conceivably release some new shares.

As I mentioned, Dendreon went from around $2.50 to $25.00 in recent weeks, with daily volume in the millions. It wouldn't be hard for them to slip in a million "treasury" shares on the primary market and increase company cash by over $20 million (depending on the board's previously announced limitations of course).

Biotech R&D companies suffer horribly in this kind of market when they are just burning cash. But when they have a confirmed breakthrough, it can be breathtaking.

I realize biocurex isn't about to trade for $20, but then they don't need $20 million extra in cash right now. It is just an illustration. Having said that though, don't underestimate how high this company could go...if their claims are legitimized in the public eye.

I am not a finance guru, so I welcome constructive criticism if I am being naive about this approach to raising cash.
