Mysscat,

This is a from Dr. Moro's news release," 4) "Home brew" tests in clinical labs generally require less regulatory approvals than commercial kits - making them ideal for expanding into other regions."

I am assuming that it would be similar to a cholesterol test. One would go in and give a vile of blood at a laboratory. Some labs perform the test in house...others may send it out. Regardless of which, they would then get the results and pass the information on to your family doctor. The patient would then call the doctor for results in a few days.

It would be up to the family Doc to either have you come in or give you the information over the phone.

I would assume the instant test could be purchased by a cancer survivor with a prescription for home use. This would give them piece of mind that the cancer has not returned. I would doubt that one could just go to the local over the counter drug store to pick an instant test up.

We will see.
