BioCentric Energy
June 29, 2010
Dear Shareholder,
To recap the past month, the team at BioCentric Energy has been optimizing, tweaking and testing the very limits of its commercial demo PBR system (closed-loop photobioreactor). Although this process was time consuming and often frustrating for our shareholders, it was a necessary step to ensure that the PBR and all of its components could withstand the daily wear and tear and the harsh elements often found in a commercial environment. The Company tested a variety of plastic tubing using an extreme mix of water, pressure, carbonation in hot and cold temperatures. As a result, the engineering of new proprietary plastic tubing (warranted for 2 years by the manufacturer) proven to withstand extreme pressure and harsh environments was developed. The BioCentric Energy Field Technicians, led by their Supervisor Pat Kuykendall, will be working diligently on July 7th installing the new plastic tubes at the Company’s headquarters in Santa Ana, California. With little time to celebrate, the team will be on the road to Death Valley Junction, California, to complete the installation of the Company’s first commercial PBR system.
The Company’s commercial demo PBR system was inoculated with a proprietary and robust algae stain approximately 10 days ago. The team is monitoring the system and the algae vitals daily (such as the ph levels, nutrients and temperature) to ensure
