Dear BioCentric Energy Shareholders,
As we approach memorial-day weekend and one more milestone for BioCentric Energy, the team is preparing the perfect blend of food (nutrients) to put into the commercial demo photobioreactor system that is located at the Company’s headquarters in Santa Ana, California. Once the food is perfectly blended within the demo PBR (in approximately 10 days) the algae will be subsequently inoculated into the system. Algae growth will be apparent by the change of color in the photobioreactor tubes. Shareholders are welcome to watch the growth of the algae via the bio-cam at www.biocentricenergy.com The proprietary algae strain that will grow in the PBR system in a few weeks is golden-brown in color, unlike the green-blue algae strains the Company has grown in the past at its San Juan Capistrano location.
Daily meetings and tours with prospective clients at the BioCentric Energy facility are keeping the staff busy as interest pours in from those seeking profitable solutions through the commercial production of algae. Potential clients have been traveling from all over the US to witness first-hand the Company’s products and services. Interest in the VAR (value added reseller) program has also increased this past month after announcing that the Company and its products were ready for commercialization. The first commercial site located in Southern California is receiving a lot of attention. Currently, the land is being prepped for the deployment of the PBR systems and a modular home for the workers has been purchased and delivered to the site. The components for the PLC control system have been ordered and the unit is currently being assembled.
The ability to nurture and successfully grow algae requires significant knowledge and hands-on experience. BioCentric Energy’s algae specialist and technical staff are working long days and weekends preparing large volumes of the algae inoculum that is required for the Company’s demo commercial system as well as the first commercial system in Southern California. Although the workload is heavy, the Company is in a positive position of growth and will be interviewing for lab and field technicians to help support our growing needs.
Through forward thinking and planning, BioCentric Energy intends to progress to an OTCBB (Over-The-Counter, Bulletin Board) company which will allow more flexibility and financing opportunities to help grow the Company. A PCAOB registered CPA firm has been selected and will begin working at the Company’s headquarters early next month to begin the auditing process that is required in obtaining the OTCBB status.
