Jens Hansen Discusses China’s Investment in Beaufield’s Iron Ore Project

October 17, 2012 - Beaufield Resources Inc V.BFD announced October 4 it has completed a non-brokered private placement with Hongkong Huaxin Petroleum Ltd of 10 million common shares at $0.20 per share for gross proceeds of $2 million. HKHP, which now controls 9% of Beaufield’s shares, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CEFC Shanghai Oil Group Co Ltd, which is a subsidiary of China CEFC Energy Company Ltd.
Beaufield’s owns the 368.7-square-kilometre Schefferville iron-ore property in Quebec. Its other holdings include the Troilus-Tortigny zinc-copper-gold project and the Opinaca gold-molybdenum project, both in Quebec.
