Vancouver, BC - Bayfield Ventures Corp. (TSX-V: BYV) (FWB: B4N) (the "Company") announces it has received results from a drill program completed by Rainy River Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: RR) on Bayfield's Burns' Block located within Rainy River's main block in the Richardson Township, Rainy River District of northwestern Ontario.

In the fall of 2008, Rainy River Resources Ltd. completed 3332 metres of diamond drilling on the Bayfield option. Drilling on the Burns' Block by Rainy River Resources has identified 2 main zones of gold mineralization.
One of these main zones is the eastward continuation of the #17 Zone of Rainy River Resources. (*Collared on RR ground).
