12:08 PM EDT, 10/25/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Barkerville Gold Mines (BGM.V) on Thursday named Francois Vezina as chief operating officer, replacing Luc Lessard, who is leaving the post.
Vezina, who had been vice-president, projects for the British Columbia gold explorer, is a mining engineer with 17 years of experience "and is recognized for innovative mining techniques and optimization of feasibility studies," the company said in a release.
Barkerville shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.445 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
