11:44 AM EDT, 04/11/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Barkerville Gold Mines (BGM.V) gained 3% in recent trade on the back of positive drill results from its flagship Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia.

The company said drilling intersected 24.16 g/t Au (gram per tonne gold) over 14.55 meters, 140 meters up dip of IM-18-019 that assayed 11.35 g/t Au over 6.30 meters on Island Mountain.
