I got it confirmed by BLTA that the ferry to Oscoda was done to do some required maintenance on the landing gear which couldn't be done in Ypsilanti and to get the bird prepared for the proving runs!
Very positive news...very promising.
I'm still waiting on the confirmation how long this maintenance action and final preparations are supposed to take. Hope to get this piece of information on Monday.
Looks like BLTA is very close to get a positive response from the FAA....finally!
