I've called Baltia myself and the explanation that I received from Paul (from IR) is that one of the slides got tangled up on the way down. Everything else operated flawlessly, including all doors.

The FACT is that they had to send communications up the totem pole of the FAA and are waiting on a response to see if they will still pass them despite the one tangled slide. I spoke to Paul last Thursday and he told me that it could take up to a week to hear a response back from the FAA.

I asked him what he personally thought about the results and he was confident that the FAA would deliver a 'pass' as the verdict. However, he noted that they were at the mercy of the FAA (as they have been throughout the entire certification process) so he's not 100% sure what verdict the FAA will deliver.

We shall see what this week brings, I will call tomorrow for another update. They have ALWAYS returned my call within a few hours. GLTA!
