For those with any questions at all, please allow me to ease your concerns. I myself have been here over 5 years and speak with as well as socialize with quite a few of Baltia's top execs quite often.
Contrary to what you may be hearing from those who clearly have never contacted anyone from HQ, I can assure you that confidence is very high and that Baltia has or is doing everything possible to ensure that the next mini goes along smoothly.
Slides have been packed by a different (FAA accredited) vendor, all equipment (both N706BL as well as Kalitta's ground equipment) is being double and triple checked, and vendors are in place in case of any unfriendly weather conditions (plows and de-icers are standing ready).
Confidence among upper management and Baltia staff is quite high, and everyone is doing their part to make this next attempt a success.
May I remind you all that the last few attempts were not passed because of equpment problems (the #5 slides on both sides of the plane were improperly packed, and therefore Baltia is using a different vendor to pack its slides)....and more importantly....that the slides that did deploy correctly were on the ground IN RECORD TIME!
In other words, confidence in the crews capabilities is unquestionable.
Tickets for the return flight to Willow Run have been purchased - one way - as everyone has the expectation to begin Proving Flights 2 days after the passing of the mini.
Buy BLTA, sell BLTA, but whatever you do, do so knowing all of the facts.
Baltia Air Lines is as excited about passing the mini as its investors are, their confidence, capabilities, and expertise are high, and everyone wants to launch this airline as quickly as possible.
Think about it: The Pilots and Crew are looking forward to doing what they have been trained to do (ie: they WANT to work on a steady basis), all the employees at Baltia (who have over the years received part of their salaries as BLTA shares) are looking forward to seeing a very large appreciation in the value of their BLTA portfolio, and Upper Management is looking forward to that feather in their cap - having successfully launched America's Newest Airline.
