Spot on SS. I agree completely. Here is my estimation of what I believe will occur over the next few months:
Phase II training will continue intensely during the month of July, with the goal of completing all aspects of training for all trainees by the end of the month.
N706BL is basically flight ready, but the final few items will be delayed until absolutely necessary - like the end of July - to hold the clock to the longest point (no need to start the clock running to the next heavy C-check until absolutely necessary) and perhaps save a few dollars in routine required maintenance procedures that are necessary after the final C1-C4 checks are signed off on.
Baltia should close out Phase II and enter Phase III sometime in early August, and I believe that all involved are pushing to get tgis done before the airshow (read what you want in that, but by "all" I mean E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E involved in every fact of the certification process. EVERYONE is working overtime to get to Phase III before Baltia gets to the airshow (Kind of makes a better presentation when the SPONSOR of the show has something else to crow about).
Proving flights won't begin until after the show (like right after!), but keep in mind that Phase III is the time that ticket sales, advertising, and......my favorite....N706BL makes her maiden flight to JFK (which should get a lot of media publicity as Baltia will be the only airline in the past 16+ years to have achieved this prestigious status and promises to bring hundreds of NEWjobs to New York as well as to Michigan).
By the end of August, Baltia's name will be the talk of the town (not just a couple of thousand shareholders but now everyone will know about this new airline......and by "everyone" I mean E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E!
LOL.....all the way to the bank!
By sometime in mid to late September, Baltia will receive its certificate from the FAA, and by October 1st Baltia can start charter flights to anywhere in the world.
By the end of October to the beginning of November, I figure Russia.....who just finished a 3 billion dollar make-over at Pulkovo Airport and who is anxious to recoup some of that investment.......will have signed off on the necessary documents and Baltia will begin her scheduled direct flights from JFK to St. Petersburg.
By about Christmas of this year, I'm thinking everyone who stuck it out will have a tremendous amount of good cheer to go around............
Go Baltia Go!
