Completion of Gate 1 Requirements
Before moving on to phase 2 of the certification process, you must meet Gate 1
requirements which include:
•Application for Department of Transportation (DOT) economic authority
•Submission of required management personnel qualification summary forms
•Identification of operations specifications paragraphs
•Letter of Intent for lease or purchase of aircraft and facilities
•Acceptable Schedule of Events
•Acceptance of Formal Application Letter
•Acceptable compliance statement
•Acceptable SAI self-audit
•Submission of all system documentation
When your application package has been accepted and you have completed all the gate
requirements, you are ready to begin Phase 2 - Design Assessment.
