Baja Mining Corp. is a Canadian mining company. Baja, through Minera y Metalurgica del Boleo S.A.P.I. de C.V. (MMB), owns a 10% interest in the Boleo copper-cobalt-zinc-manganese project located in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Its just another possibility that might realize a sudden gain, while waiting for the start of production.

Why would the koreans have anything to do with Baja Mining. They own 30% of the mexican mining company, with baja owning 70%. Why cant Baja sell thier 70% stake to a major like Freeport Mcmoran?

The Koreans would still get thier option to buy 30% of the copper or more at market prices, and be entiteled to 30% of the profits of the mexican holding company.

If the CEO had a reasonable offer of anything close to $6 per share, I'm sure he would put it to the shareholders for a vote in no time.
