I agree with the cash cow statement. The only thing is the operational conditions for 8 months per year is going to be brutal. I would be very surprised if they are even able to operate in January and Febuary. If they can it will not be no where near 100%. The weather conditions are just to harsh. I work at one of the Diamond mines in the NWT and the weather can drop to -50 ambient temperature. That can easily get down to minus 65-70 with the wind. Baffinland site is even farther north and closer to the ocean which would make the opportunity of even wind. The ambient temp could easily get to -60.

This type of weather is killer on heavy equipment. Hydraulic hoses, filters, engines don't really like to work in that temp...especially when you consider the amount and type of work this equipment would be doing.

It can be done its just going to be a tough operation and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see the budget for infrastructure go over...just my experience in this type of construction.

That being said I think this place is one of the most under valued, resource deposits on the market right now...in a couple of years these prices will just be a dream.
