I agree with Britnicks' observations. However, at this particular point in time if we were all ARU purists it would be a really blank board. As far as I know there is currently no work being done at FDN, at least no work that generates any meaningful information.

Although I have visited some South American countries, Brazil, Uruguay, and a few Central American countries, I am far from considering myself knowledgeable when it comes to the Latino mindset. I have mostly enjoyed the off topic discussions, especially during this slack period. I think I have learned a lot from reading other points of view.

I have no personal experience in mining, so my comments, unfortunately have tended to be of a political nature or in some cases referring to the environment, even the odd joke in the Off Topic, I certainly did not contribute very much. That is not to say that I have not enjoyed this board, on the whole it has been an enjoyable and educational experience for me. What with Safeharbour running the show, and giving us a mental boost when we need it. All of the contributers have added to the quality of the board, even kerrisdale when he wasn't angry at someone has provided valueable insights.

I much prefer discussion to argument, and I get the feeling that there are the beginings of some unpleasant undercurrents here. probably just my imagination, you know, my paranoia kicking in.

Anyway, although I will remain long on ARU I feel it is time to say hasta luego to a very interesting board, or better yet, vaya con dios mi amigos. Langosta.
