that actually happened in 1972. charlie duke was the lunar module pilot for apollo 16, and while he was doing an eva on the moon he decided he was going to set a new world(s) record in the high jump. so he jumped straight up in the air, landed badly and fell flat on his back. when they finally decided he hadn't ruptured his pressure suit, his commander suggested that he might not want to do that again. that was end of the first (and last) moon olympics.
