I believe that the the IMF just issued a rather poor report on the Canadain securities regulatory and enforcement bodies. Surprise, surprise.
It is well known in finacial circles that Canada is the naked shorting capital of the world and if you can not get away with it in the States than you just come to Canada hahahahahahahahahaha.
However it does appear that our oh so honest and efficient politicians are trying to bring in a new regulatory regime.
I firmly beleive they will get the barn door closed just as all the sheep have finally been sheared hahahahahahahahahahaha.
At least the SEC is now going after the most blatant of the trangressors in an attempt to polish their tarnished image. It's a start at least.
Perhaps also the regulators realize now that there will be no high paying jobs in the finacial sector waiting for them after doing their intership at the SEC hahahahahahahahahahaha.
All in my honest opinion of course.
