3) How in the world is it possible to trade ARU "in the equivalent shares in K" ......."manually" ....?? If you can not sell AUREF and no one can buy AUREF, then are you telling me that they are doing the .317 share convert on the side and 'pretending' you already have the Kinross shares...and trading them? This does not sound accurate to me.
You can't "trade" ARU anymore, but you can sell it. Your broker can short the equivalent amount of K and credit your account. From your point of view, that's the same as if you sold. Then when your shares finally arrive, they'll use them to cover the short. You have to do this by phone, because they need your authorization. Be sure and tell them if you want to sell just the shares, or the warrants as well.
Personally speaking, I wouldn't sell here. If this crisis deepens - and I see no reason why it won't - I expect panic buying of gold shares once joe average realizes he can't buy physical. That will give you an opportunity to get out at a higher price. That's just my opinion though. You do what you have to do.
