FWIW for those interested, I’m still here at least as of the end of Trading 23Sept08! This list of “Still Holding” respondents is considerably less than the list dbunker was keeping!

Looking back at my purchases of ARU tonight, I’ve been in here since Apr06 when I started to nibble then, like someone experiencing Crack , I got hooked! Consequently, I’ve purchased excessively at what too looks, erratically, being at every price level!

Little did I think that two and a half yrs later I’d be wearing out the keys on my calculator to see at what level our accts could exit at a breakeven level or an acceptable loss. I don’t even want to think of the time spent reading this Board and the Ecuador Mining News and thinking about the Politics being played out in Ecuador. So absorbed in Ecuador’s news that right now I doubt I could guess the correct date I’m to cast my Vote for the Cdn Election!

The Constitutional Vote is SUNDAY, 28Sept08! Six mos ago it seemed like we’d have to wait an Eternity. Now, because of all the things that have happened to us to fill in the time, all of a sudden the date has arrived! Then because it doesn’t solve OUR problems, we wait again for 2 wks for the new Mining Law. Then we wait again for the WFT to be announced. While all this time we wait further to see what develops by holding on to our shs while K enjoys putting the Miners back to work.

The Miners Back to Work!!! That would have been such a notable event and consequently the experience of watching our shs appreciate. Now it means little to me. Oh I’ll have limited interest in following what happens but it’s unlikely I’ll celebrate by pouring myself a drink.

All things considered this has been by far the worst investment I’ve ever made and I’m very anxious to end my misery. Like an Alcoholic, I’m handling it Day by Day and hoping to “Hang in” as the other great people on this Board are trying their best to do. Our Posts are sure dwindling as each on our list of what was it 150 Members, finds an alternative necessity to apply their funds.

It’s been a long trying experience but I’m not jumping Ship until I have no other source of funds or Kinross shares appear in my Acct due to a Court Order.

As well, I want to see those BOD deviates of their Trusted Positions named in all the Financial Papers and News Sites when a Judge says: Guilty as Charged!
