Reading the overnight posts, I see the "Safe Harbour era" of this Forum is still a touchy subject. Oddly, I personally see merit in both points of view expressed, and would not be surprised to learn that many between the poles have mixed feelings about the Captain's mode of departure. It seems indisputable to me, though, that we did have effective leadership throughout the crisis period of our saga. Now it is Autumn, Safe Harbour is gone, Aita is here, and events roll on. It's still a fascinating Forum to me and I hope it continues until we have full resolution of all issues. No doubt, their are many watching with interest who do not post because they have nothing to add to the mix at any one time.

Be of good cheer! The end is near! Shakespear said something like: "There are more things 'neath Heaven and Earth than this world has dreamed of". Let us keep our eyes and ears open and continue to help one another as best we can.
