Before you jump all over me, this was a simple request for information from Kinross that I wanted to pass on. And for the record ( as I have stated numerous times) based on principle alone I am in this to the end. I have not gone and will not be going anywhere. You also have my word that I will not be posting on the K board until this situation resolves itself.

Thank you for your email. We have also heard that the mining law may be released around the time of the expiry of the mining mandate, however that timing is out of our control. We will be awaiting the passage of the new mining law from the Ecuador government before we decide how to proceed.
