This is the same logic I am using. The mining mandate is over mid. Oct at the latest so legally the mining companies can start up their operations again which will be a big boost to everyone. So it is only common sense that the government would have the final law released and voted on before then.

Ask yourselves this. Why would the government of Ecuador go through all this only to release a law that would be completely onerous to the mining companies? Can't see it.....it will be in line with international standards. We know this, Kinross obviously knows this as they are most assuredly on top of the situation.
