The company whose shareholders were better than its management
This deal seems unusual,in the normal takeover course of events. I wish the deal had gone better for us as retail shareholders. Thinking out loud, What if the government of Equador chose Kinross for some reason to develop FDN? Perhaps as others have alluded to in previous posts (ebear, Fearless and Otto) Equador wishes to take an active roll (perhaps even a joint venture)in the development of this poject. Why not with such a rich deposit? Could it be that Kinross was the only company that wanted to play ball with Equador. Could this be construed as the political risk, why no major countered the Kinross offer? Best Rgards to all fellow crewmembers, wdboat
