I just tried to submit an order to sell for $22.00, and the 'CIBC broker' informed me that he would be unable to perform this order cause the computer program shows a 'system reject', thus, we are unable to submit your request! I then disconnected and tried another 'CIBC broker', and received the same reply! Now what?

i had a similar problem with schwab removing my offers. try calling back and talking to another rep. explain to him that there are nearly 2 million shares already being offered between $20 and $60. ask him to call the toronto stock exchange and verify that it can be done.

if he still can't (won't) do it, then tell him if must be a cibc-related problem, and since everyone else can do it, maybe you would be better off if you transferred your account to td or someone else.

and if all else fails, you can tell him what hitler said all canadian brokers are good for.
