Kinross will extendg the expiry time of the current offer in the next few days if they don't get 50.1%.....they probably will up the offer a little.....they won't let the offer fail yet.....

I assume this WILL take place prior to Wednesday 6PM 03Sept Why put your best foot foward in the first Offer. Put out a low ball Offer and see how it flies.

The latest time Dealers have requested submissions is Tuesday 9AM 02Sept. IMO Kinross will know well within 24 hrs how many shs have been submitted which if I'm correct, will leave then 9 hrs in which to increase their bid if they see their Offer has been rejected by the majority.

Which brings us to another thought. If another Bid materializes that we feel relatively confident K won't submit to, leaving 10% o/s that prevents ARU from being delisted ... nothing prevents us from withholding our shs too. We can sit and wait for the mine development just as Kinross can. Lots of twists and turns in this decision but I don't see why we couldn't do so should we chose.

Cripes, seems this IS far more involved than what our preliminary thoughts led us to believe. The more we think about it the more involved we come to realize this can become if Kinross bid fails. This isn't just a simple Bid we Accept or Decline. If it fails, there appears to be many other things that have to be considered by another Bidder AND us.

IMO we won't see another bid until after the New mineral Law is Passed. No company wants to take such risk. We as shareholders 'assume' it's going to be condusive to Mining ... a Company putting over a billion of their shareholder's funds at risk better see it in Black and White AND BE SURE that what they're reading is how they understand it to be. That takes lawyers to decipher the verbiage and that IMO takes time. I can wait. Our first Goal is to see the Kinross bid FAIL and we've done all we can to sway the Retail shs from being submitted. Our few shs being withheld, (compared to the Funds Hldgs), may just have been an influence to some degree, on them too. In the meantime we wait.
