My guess.....

If no other offers come in Kinross will get between 50.1% and 60% tendered.....I hope they extend the period after that and throw in a sweetener.....but I am afraid they will take what they get and run thereby closing the tender period and stopping further offers....

The Newmonts and Barricks will not be happy as they too will have gotten out-Kinrossed......

If they do make the foolish move of extending the period to tender ( in hopes of getting more tenders) then they will get caught in their own trap and someone else( Like Newmont or ABX) will "finally" wake up and put in a real offer....
