Would Newmont have exploration projects in Ecuador and not bid on Aurelian at these completely ridiculous levels....it would make zero sense. Newmont is huge and would have the same if not greater access to the Ecuador government officials that Kinross had. They know the mining law will be out shortly and know that it will meet international standards.

Barrick has an office in Quito. Do you think they opened that office for any other reason than Aurelian? I highly doubt it. Again it would make zero sense for them not to take a run at Aurelian as well.
