Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.

The company whose shareholders were better than its management
You'll have to excuse me for not joining in the fray the past few days but some construction company cut through a cable in our area and we just got our phone/high speed back.
I would encourage all of us to keep the pressure on and the exposure level high. It does not surprise me that we haven't had another bid as the majors don't want to tip their cap too early.
It would make no sense for numerous majors not to make a bid with the mining law looking to be on par with international standards and Chiriboga now coming out with reassurances about the economic/legal side of things. It's only our wonderful leader who now likes to plant the seeds of doubt about Ecuador all of a sudden. Don't worry about him, his credibility is totally shot.
There are all things we can do to help the cause because we have enough truth on our side for 10 battles against our supposed leaders. Let's keep it professional but very direct.
Things we can do.
1. Write letters and make phone calls to analysts. Info in the link library.
2. Write letters and phone calls to Aurelian.....this one even if it just makes you feel better.
3. Write letters to the various media outlerts. Info. in the link library.
4. Write the majors. Info. in the link library.
5. Put comments on articles, blogs, You Tube articles etc. Just something short and succinct with suffice.
6. Join in Kerrisdale's $20 sell order idea.
7. Keep researching articles.
8. Write to shareholder advocate groups.
9. Write your politicians.
10. Keep making note of items for a potential legal case. The wheels are in motion here. This option will be used if need be.
11. Do not tender your shares under any circumstances.
12. Do not sell your shares under any circumstances.
If you can only do a couple of things that's fine just make sure you do them and don't assume others will do them for you.
Here is a poem posted by Britnick several months ago that I'm sure many of you have read before. It may sound hokey to some but there is a lot of truth in it.
Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will. When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill. When funds are low and the debts are high. And you want to smile, but you have to sigh. When care is pressing you down a bit. Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns. As everyone of us sometimes learns. And many a failure turns about. When he might have won had he stuck it out: Don’t give up though the pace seems slow – You may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out – The silver tint of the clouds of doubt And you never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems so far: So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit – It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit. |
