How can they vote Yes on what they dont even know what theyre voting for??

The new constitution has been released, so they can read it if they want.

Some will, some won't. This is more of a popularity vote on Correa's presidency than a vote on the constitution. I also wouldn't put too much confidence in the polls, which are taken over the phone. Not many phones in rural villages.

I would say what you're seeing in the polls is the urban/suburban tally. I expect there's a lot more support in the countryside.

My guess is that the constitution passes with 62%
