I applaud your enthusiasm with this project but I fail to see the point of having 1M, 2M or 5M shares posted for sale at $20.00.

There is supposed to be about 30% (50M shs) in the hands of retail shareholders.

while on the surface the number of shares offered at $20+ so far is a small percentage, the thing to remember is that we are only a few hundred shareholders, and not even all of us have participated in this protest. aurelian has thousands of shareholders who have never heard of this forum, and some of them may only be vaguely aware that there is an internet.

but the fact that they don't read this forum doesn't mean that all the rest of the 30% of the retail shareholders are happy with the kinross offer. anyone can see that this offer isn't just a joke, it's a bad joke. this is the kind of theft that our poison pill was supposed to protect us from if patrick and the seven dwarves had been doing their jobs.

our collective opinion about this $6 offer is shared widely. many in the industry have already said that kinross is trying to buy aru cheap. we in the forum are just a lot more vocal about it than everyone else. so we are not the entire sword, we are just the pointy end of the sword, but we are going to skewer this deal.
