To the Crew,
In this comment from the report, Tye states...
"The announcement of our friendly offer to acquire Aurelian Resources demonstrates Kinross' continued commitment to long-term, disciplined growth through maintaining a pipeline of high-quality development projects, and developing them responsibly in close cooperation with the governments and local communities where we operate."
This is still the reason that Patrick, ( I believe) wanted to accept Kinross's offer...Patrick thinks that Kinross is the most responsible mining company to finish the developement of FDN.
And then this little part of the document seemed to "shout out"...
Hey! Kinross is just hiring the ARU crew to continue the whole development and future exploration of FDN and the rest of the 95,000 "sweet" hectares in Ecuador!
- "Kinross has launched a friendly bid to acquire 100% of the common shares of Aurelian Resources and combine both companies to advance responsible development of the Fruta del Norte (FDN) deposit in Ecuador. Kinross' bid expires on September 3, 2008."
Nobody looses their now "fat" positions in job security! What a sweet deal for our "beloved" management....make great money playing ARUdevelopment both ways...up and down!... and then keep the best jobs in the future of mine production and Geo-exploration of the "Corridor of Gold"
JUST MY THOUGHTS on KINROSS'S REPORT,
Long for CASH!
