Man what a crooked industry. After ARU no more metals shares. no more BNN
I'm taking this to heart, and bowing out of this "industry" as well.
I guess P.T. Barnum's maxim still holds true, but not for me. Not anymore. There's myriad other opportunities out there, not just in Canada, but around the world.
I have access to a dozen international markets through my broker, and I plan to avail myself of the service. No more money to Bay St. Ebear is going global.
Can I interest anyone here? There's a lot of collective knowledge in this group and it would be nice to keep it together. We could put up a blog, a website, whatever, and combine our skills to sniff out international opportunities. Bring the same level of research to that endeavor as we have here.
Let's face it, the growth isn't in North America anymore. It's in places like China, India, Latin America, the Middle East. Opportunities exist in energy, agriculture, infrastructure, water services, and related technology, to mention just a few. One example: Vestas Wind Systems which trades in Copenhagen. This was a $30 stock two years ago. Now it's $120. There are others like Vestas out there, we just need to find them. Can it be any harder than picking mining stocks?
It's a big planet. Who needs Bay St.?
