Yes. No one in this government has any business experience. President Correa is an academic who studied economics from left-wing textbooks.

The mining mandate showed that they dont think. They drafted the mandate without even consulting the ministry of mining and petroleum.

They are idealists.

Given what they're up against I'd say they've come a long way, and personally speaking, I'd rather do business with them than the people they replaced.

If you don't like it, become a citizen and cast your vote.
