My feel is once this mine is operating and Correa or whoever is enjoying the results of royalties, they will quickly approve open pitting the southern portion.,..this will be years down the road. Otherwise they don't get the royalties....

Don't restrict the ounce count because at the moment they don't like to hear about open pits. How will Corriente get all that copper out of the ground? Underground? By the time they get to the southern portion Correa, Acosta and the boys will be but a asterisk in Ecuadorian politics.
