The waiting game used to be a wait for something

mining draft/law and associated legislation

the wait for an offer from someone

the wait for drill results (remember those days...seems so long ago)

Now the wait is for a counter offer from someone else. What will it take to get another major to make an offer, or rather, for mgmt to tell us about it (as i suspect they will know well in advance of us)

Do we hear soon, or september 2nd?

This waiting game is very suspenseful. At least we know we will probably hear within a month. Wonder if they are waiting for draft to become public.

Of course all of our collective thoughts believe that it is only logical that another offer will surface, and i still firmly believe it will, but when?

There are at least three other options:

1. Plan Otto (which I endorse, if that isn't obvious by now)

2. Scorched Earth: Tie it up in litigation so that no one will want it.

3. ?
