This whole game is about making money for the big guys....Kinross is in the drivers seat so far...
If you are a Barrick or Newmont and you want the FDN deposit ( and feel it is worth at least $ 20 a share) you have no problem with paying the $ 20 for the 165 Million shares or $ 3.3 Billion....BECAUSE if you let Kinross take ARU over or 50.1% or 66.67% and you still want the FDN property you will have to buy out Kinross....and Kinross has 620 Million shares outstanding @ at $ 25 or $ 30 per share...or $ 15.5 Billion to $ 18.6 Billion......also if you buy Kinross you end up with the big Russian problem that waits around the corner....
