She just called me and we had about a 20 minute conversation. She seemed a bit stressed but was quite cordial. Here is what I can remember
- Patrick, Tye, Tim W. and someone else are in New York/Boston today talking to institutional investors.
- should be able to get some drill results out before Sept.3.
- some institutions are voting for the deal but some are definitely not.
- they have spoken to Keith Barron a few times and he has not made up his mind.
- she this vote is definitely not a done deal as they need 66%.
- she obviously couldn't say if there is anyone sniffing around. She did say with the gold find of a generation you'd think they would be falling all over themselves to bid.
- she herself is little bit underwater on her shares as well so is definitely hoping for more bids.
If I think of anything else I'll post it but remember she is not the real villain here, it's the BOD for accepting such a lowball stink bid in the first place.
