Aurelian Resources Was Stolen By Kinross and Management But Will Not Be Forgotten

The company whose shareholders were better than its management

laross 19,

I have to agree with you on this....not every major would want to take on the political risk that Kinross has shouldered!

It would be much easier for a major, as you have stated, to just increase the bid for ARU...its so low of a bid now that it won't take that much more to outbid them, especially for deep pockets...

The 15 million shares that ARU "gave" to Kinross is the wild card in this deck....my gut still hurts from thinking about how maybe "our company" took away our leverage in this game with that outrageous move....I'm still trying to figure out how this angle of the story is going to work its way out!

The only thing that makes any sense is if Kinross is only acting as the catalyst to start a bidding war between the majors...acting as a shill, as I've stated earlier, with them getting a great fee for acting the part...

Patrick has me worried that he might think that Kinross would be the best bidder because of their environmental and community standards. Patrick might feel some kind of personal responsibility to the Shura community to make sure who ever runs the FDN project would do so with these concerns in mind....not like a Barrick or Newmont, who might only have profit motives in mind...

Jeez, what a novel idea...profit!... and to the shareholders who have backed this company with their efforts to do what they could to make the company better in the eyes of Ecuador...

I think it was you laross 19, that brought up the fact that the company has a fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders...so far I haven't seen that, and that does make for a classic lawsuit!

I just hope that the company is playing a risky game of "hardball" with the majors.... why would they want to give up the greatest find of gold this decade for a song and dance, they to have worked too hard for this to give up the "treasure" so easily!

Hold tight Crew...the other shoe has yet to drop!

Long for Cash
