Chiriboga said a long-awaited mining law that will lift the ban is expected to be introduced after September when Ecuadoreans vote on a new constitution that would boost Correa's control over the country's natural resources.

Mining law after Septemeber? Is this report credible? Ecuador really needs to wake up to reality. Every day without the law, foreign investment is slowly looking outside ecuador and the proverty situation is not improving in the country either.

Which puts us in a great position to negotiate a deal with the Ecuadorean government. Let others worry about political risk. Let others worry about a few months of delay. By the time they figure it out, we'll have left them in the dust.

Well... could have left them in the dust if management hadn't dropped the ball. Anyone care to pick up that ball and run with it, while there's still time? Come on guys. Game's just started!
