Last week there was some discussion on the Congresillo. In bold below should answer a couple of our outstanding questions re: size and how it is divided up by party members.
In the absence of a transitional regime The Assembly has resolved subtraction, today, a Transitional Regime, which seeks to resolve the legislative situation in the period from the date of the referendum and general elections to be convened in consultation whether approving the new Constitution, and that would change the whole legal framework of the State. That regime, which is expected to last between six and eight months, besides establishing a legal framework for the general election, should resolve any institutional vacuum, in the absence of Congress, which was stopped by the Constituent before installation eight months ago .
Therefore, it is expected that several proposals are being discussed: one that raises Constituent assume that the current parliamentary functions until the election of new legislators, and another called 'The Congresillo', composed of 39 designated assembly in proportion to the Current conformation of the Assembly. The Constituent also discuss whether, in the event that the referendum not to earn the new Constitution, permitted or not to return the deputies of the previous legislature. Also, the Assembly has proposed that Congress change its name to National Assembly deputies and by assembly.
