I'm not very good with that Google translator. From what I can gather the Deposit Guarantee Agency (AGD) seized the assets of the Isaiah Group including TV and radio stations. These assets are part of 195 companies owned by Isaiah Group whose majority owners are Robert and William Isaiah who currently reside in the United States and are accused by the Ecuadorian Government of embezzlement. Ecuador has an extradition order out against the two.
The AGD is responsible for recovering assets provided by the government to banks covering losses by depositers in the 98/99 financial crises. Over 30 banks went under with total losses amounting to $8 billion. Filanbanco, a bank owned by the Isaiah brothers apparently picked up $600 million of that amount. The brothers beelined for the good old US of A. The government seems to think that a fair amount of that money stuck to the inside of the brother's wallets.
As I said, I'm not very good with Google translator, so what I've just said maybe total hogwash.
