I was ecstatic when I read that. We've been hearing rumblings about it but it was nice to have such an emphatic statement from Serrano. I was also pleased that the writer clearly stated the difference between Ecuador and Venezeula. It's time that scare tactic was put to bed once and for all.

One of the other nice things was the repeated emphasize on the economic benefits of mining and just how much of a benefit it can be to the people of Ecuador.
